How to Add an Agency Partner to your Facebook Business Manager Ad Account, Page, Instagram Account, Pixel and Other Apps

When working with an agency partner it is important to provide them access to Facebook Ads Account, page, Instagram, and pixel. Follow the steps below add a partner to your Facebook Business Manager account.

*You must have admin level access to invite or accept partner requests.

Adding A Partner To Your Facebook Manger Account

1. Go to https://business.facebook.com/

2. Select Business Settings

3. Next we'll want to add our agency partner to our business settings.

• Select Partners (A) on the left hand side
• Then select Add
• Then select Give a partner access to your assets (B)

4. A popup will appear and you'll enter in your agency's partner ID. *Your agency will provide you with this

Now that we've added the agency partner into your Facebook Business Manager, we will now need to add them to the individual assets like the ads account, instagram account, pixel, feed, etc.

Adding an Agency Partner to your Facebook Ads Account

*Note: If you have NOT added the agency partner to your Facebook Business Manager, please scroll to the top of this post and see step 1.

1. On the left hand side select Ad Accounts and select the ad account you'd like to give the agency permission to (you may only have one account).

• Select the Ad Accounts (A) on the left hand side
• Then select the account (B) you'd like to give permission to
• Select Assign Partners (C)

• When you do this a window will popup, select Business ID (D)

• Then enter in the Partner Business ID (E)
• Lastly select the switch that says Manage Ad Account (F) the hit next and complete.

Adding an Agency Partner To Your Instagram Account

This setup is very similar to adding a partner to your Facebook Ads Account.

Here are the steps:

• Select Instagram Accounts (A) on the left hand side
• Then your Instagram account (B)
• Next, click Assign Partners (C)

• A popup will appear, enter in the Partners Business ID (D)
• Select next and complete

Adding an Agency Partner To Your Facebook Pixel

This setup is very similar to adding a partner to your Facebook Ads Account.

Here are the steps:

• Select Data Sources (A) on the left hand side
• Then select Pixels (B)
• Select your pixel (C) you'd like invite your agency to
• Then select Assign Partners (D)

• A popup will appear, enter in the Partner Business ID (E)
• Then under Manage Pixel, select that switch (F)
• Click next and complete

Adding an Agency Partner To Your Facebook Catalog

This setup is very similar to adding a partner to your Facebook Ads Account.

Here are the steps:

1. Go to business.facebook.com/settings
2. Data Sources --> Catalogs
3. Select the data source and click Assign Partners
4. Enter the agency partner ID here
